Thumbs down Just wanted to say...

Hi to everyone. I"ve been lurking for sometime now. I like reading all the posts that are here and I can really relate to them.

My name is Chrissy and I'm a compulsive eater. Mood swings, happy, sad, cry, laugh you name it and I want to eat. Not in front of anyone....just by myself and in big portions.

I've really been trying to get intune with my emotions and trying to make sure I take my Prozac. I've taken that for about three years now. I do feel better when I take it it's just remembering to do so.

I would love to come here and post with you gals. You seem to be very insightful and since I'm just now realizing that I have this problem....I should have known years ago....I can use all the help and guidance that I can get.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you,

Blessing, ChrissyB

Welcome Chrissy

I'm new to this board too and these ladies do make you feel welcome and comfortable about sharing.

I can relate to the eating anything in sight! I'm an emotional eater too and some days the slightest thing can send me off.

When I read your post about remembering to take your pills I had to dash off and take mine! Some days I know my brain just isn't where it should be!

I was diagnosed with post partum/natal depression about 4 months ago after 3rd baby and now know that I had it to some degree after #2 and at other times over last 18 - 20 years. I am feeling better since starting medication and hope to start counselling soon to deal with some ancient history. Talking, sharing and relating to others in similar positions is helpful and this bord is great for that.

Would love to hear from you. E-mail me if you like

All the best

Anna

Hi Chrissy,

Welcome to our little corner of the world, I'm so glad you decided to hang with us ninnies. Big Huggs To You !!

Anna, I just wanted to let you know that posting your email address can be a possible invitation for trouble, so I hope you don't mind but I took it off your post. If you'd like to send your email out, private message the person you want to send it to, this is the safest way to go. I had no clue about this until LindaT was kind enuf to point this out to us a little while ago, thanks again Linny.

Huggs, Leenie

Hello Ladies and Welcome New Ladies!

I am not new to 3fc .....but havent posted a lot and found a lot of former chatters ( friends) posting here and I joined in!

I will admit I am not depressed and have not suffered through depresssion................however I am the Mother of a daughter who has had many depression problems beginning at an early age.which later led to drugs & many other problems..........She is now the Mother of 4 lovely children and still has "battles" with depression but Praise God has some help and is getting better!
Having said all that I have been through a lot with her including admitting her for detox......................so please know I understand and that I am here as a friend and encourager!!

So WELCOME>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anyone else that may be lurking too!

Its been a good & productive day.I started out doing my 2 mile Leslie Sansone.so I could get on the computer! I am keeping that promise to myself...................I did some good housecleaning & grocery shopping & visited my 2 friends that are in the hospital.one is off the respirator & out of intensive care! PTL(Praise The Lord) for that too!

Trusting everyone is having a nice week-end despoite the cold........Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it is cold.I love to birdwatch when its cold like this........filled all my feeders & even bought another one for another tree! They are beautiful in the snow!

Until the next time!
