Default Starting My Journey Once Again

I am diabetic and have struggled with a weight problem for all of my adult life. I have tried many different diet programs.....some with little success and some with no success. I guess you could say my biggest problem is staying focused and keeping on track. I guess all I can do is keep trying and continue to put one foot in front of the other. I've done the weight watchers program in the past and it has worked well for me, but I haven't been able to stick with it due to other financial obligations. I thought I could do it on my own without the program, but have found that did not work for me. I have put back on all the weight I lost and then some. I have come to the conclusion that I am one of those people who need the structure and accountability of a weekly meeting to keep me on track, so last Monday (3/28/11) I rejoined Weight Wathcers and am commited to once again try to lose the weight. I am hoping to connect with and make some friends on this site to help me keep on tract and stay focused. I'm convinced that together we can all live a healthier life.

Welcome! I am also on WW, started mid-February, I think. I also like the accountability of the weekly weigh-ins, but remember, WW is only a tool and a training resource, and few will attend meetings forever! I think the key is motivation and self-discipline, something that I've been trying to improve in myself. Good luck!
