Default Confused about gain this week

I haven't officially weighed in at the meeting yer. But my home scale says I'm up 3 this week. I have been within my points everyday this week. And only used 9 of my weeklies. What went wrong?!?!? How can someone figure it out? I'm pretty discouraged because I was only 1.2 away from my 10% and now I'm going in the other direction!

Time of the month or you may not have drank enough water so you might be hanging onto excess water?

Not the time of the month. No excersize. Not sure about the water. Not sure of the good health guidelines.

Dont worry too much. If you havent even weighed in yet at a weekly weigh in.., just wait and see ... our bodies are insane ive come to realize and typically my weight is fluctuating all over the place - every week. 3lbs up 3 lbs down and everything in between wait and see how your WI goes.

Ended up only being up one pound for the week on my WW official weigh-in. It's better than three. But I'm still a little upset.

Don't be afraid to eat your weeklies.

That really depends. Eating weekly points will slow weight loss. If you look at WW formula (check their patents) it is clear that they expect that eating weeklies result in a little less weight loss. It appears to make a difference of about 1/2 a pound. If you would normally lose 2 or 2 1/2 pounds a week and eat weeklies and lose 1/2 pounds less you may feel that tradeoff is well worth it particularly if it helps you stay on program.

For me, if I eat all my weeklies my weight loss becomes 1/4 to 1/2 of a pound a week whereas it is about 1 pound average if I don't eat most of them. I will eat some when I go out but mostly don't. (I can stay on program fine most of the time without using them).

I'm up this week despite being on plan, but my intestines feel very slowed down so I think that is a contributing factor. Other weeks I've been down after eating 54 points in a day (my limit is 29). Just remember that weight loss is not linear, and sometimes makes absolutely no sense at all. If you think it will be a straight line down, you will be disappointed a lot of the time.
