Post Monday, monday

First, welcome Sarah. We have a great little support group going here and I hope that you'll stick with us =)

We went to a friends' son's 1st birthday party yesterday. We hadn't seen him in 6 months. He grew soooo much! He's just adorable now =)

Didn't do much else this weekend...watched the Bruins game Saturay (missed the one yesterday due to the brithday party). We had a friend visit Saturday and stay the night. And Jay and I went shopping/christmas shopping yesterday. I desperately needed some new clothes!

Hope everyone else had a good weekend. My Monday isn't too packed right now, so I'll be checking back in.

Hi all! Welcome Sarah!

I worked all weekend, and had a good financial turnout! Boy did I need it ~ whew!

Went to WW on Sunday and lost .2 on the scale. Not bad considering at home I was up like 4 lbs from Thanksgiving weekend (too much pie!). So since I missed a week, there didn't show much of a loss when there was one.

Things are going good - I've got 1 more weekend of work, and 2 more weeks of classes. A lot of work to get done between now & then. X-mas cards to be filled out, tree to put up, shopping to be finished and not to mention schoolwork! Oh well, one day at a time.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. The weather was nice despite the snow on the ground. We're not due for any more snow this coming week. Who knows when we'll see it again!

I've got to get the King off to school!

Talk to you later!

Hello, everyone!! Sorry I've been MIA lately, I just haven't had much of anything to talk about, so I've been keeping quiet. Plus, I've also had a ton of work, so I've been busy, too.

Things are OK here. I still miss Aaron and Workboy has turned himself into a childish a-hole, so I've been a little depressed. Basically Workboy told me that he likes me, but thinks that he can find better. Needless to say, I'm not going to hang while he's looking for that something better. I'm a little angry and bitter, and to make things even better, he's going to be in the building all week. Today, I'm wearing his favorite sweater and a pair of size 10 pants that I'm particularly proud to be in.

I weighed in on Thursday. I was up 4 pounds. Yeah, not so good for the depression, either. I don't know why I was up. I mean, obviously Thanksgiving wasn't the best for me, but I was OP much of the rest of the week. The only thing that I can think of is that I've started lifting more weight at the gym. And the ever-wonderful premenstrual weight, of course.

I had my Jump Start Party for Close to My Heart yesterday. It was depressingly small, but at least I'll get $30 in free stamps. I'm hoping to get a few more orders, but it's still not going to be very much. Hopefully things will pick up after the Holidays.

Modkittn (I'm sorry, I don't remember your name)--It sounds like you had a nice weekend. Mine was pretty out of control, for a change. I went out on Saturday and put a few drinks away. (I rarely drink, so it didn't take many to do me in).

Deb--Yay about WI!! Maintaining over the holidays is hard enough, so losing is quite an accomplishment, way to go!!

OK, I gotta finish up some work from last week...

I'll stop in later, OK?

Hey all. No great news to report. Just stress for me. I did, however, have a food/drink find this weekend. I found Chai Tea in powder form and Sam's club. And it is only like 2 points a cup (not that I am counting at the moment) and less caffeine than a cup of decaf coffee (or so it says). I have only had the liquid form that you mix with milk. This one mixes with water. Yummy on cold days. I brought the whole huge canister to work since everyone else enjoys foo foo coffee and teas and I can't!

Jess... I am so glad you posted. Don't hide even tho you are down. Remember you are young. Man, I remember back to before I met hubby. I was so sad over men all the time. I didn't meet hubby until I was 25, so that was a lot of bad men years! Chin up, you have so much to offer, so don't settle for wishy washy!!

Deb, how are things on the home front???

We have no snow yet and this is very odd for here. We are putting off getting a Christmas Tree because of it. They are predicting a dry winter for us this year. Booo hooo!!!

Hi everyone. My boss is away again. That makes less pressure for me. I had a slow weekend. It was nice to just veg out for a couple of days. I actually organized my room and my dresser drawers. It's nice to finally have my suitcase up off the floor. I hadn't unpacked it from moving almost two months ago. My Grams and mom came for dinner on sunday and my Grandma gave me her artificial Christmas tree because they don't put it up anymore. It's about 2 feet high and sparkly blue and green. But it looks cute in my little suite. Last night, my phone rang at 11:30 waking me up and scaring me. My little sister's cat was acting strange and her husband's out of town so she phoned me. I can't wait to see what kind of a parent she makes. Anyways...
Jess - Good thinking with WB - if he's that lame, you don't need him. Be thankful he showed his true colors early on.
Lori - did you get some nice clothes? or did you end up just buying other people stuff?
Deb - glad to hear things are going well, you sound busy.
Hi Tonya!
Jen - I've never tried Chai tea. What brand is the mix you got?

OK - they just gave me a pile of work. I'll get through it and check in later.

Jess - WHAT AN @SS-HOLE!! I can't believe that - slap him upside the head and kick him to the curb. You are the one that can do better - what a dork.

That's my 2 cents. Must go now. BBL

Things are busy for me!

Jess - That's a good attitude. Kick that boy to the curb! And we have our lives ahead of us ... so don't get down about this not working out. If you and Aaron were meant to be forever, it will happen.

Tonya - I love your little avitar! How are things going?

Jen - I was just thinking about my "tree" situation - there is almost 2 weeks left to Christmas - it hardly seems worth it to put it up if I don't get it done TONIGHT!! ARRRRGGGHHH! I've had the stupid tree (artificial this year) in my trunk since THURSDAY! And the deco's are still in storage. Then I started thinking about CHRISTMAS CARDS ... those have to be done tonight too ... Oy-vay.

Hello to everyone else I've missed! I've got a major deposit to get done and I took a little break from it.

Jess - What a jerk!!! I can't believe he SAID THAT to you and expects you to still be there in case the "better girl" doesn't come along??!?!?! Push him right out of your mind and go find your better man!!!!!

KT - Got some good clothes for myself...needed some "work-type" clothes if you know what I mean. It was cool cause I bought the "juniors" size 11....regular misses sizes I am an 8/10 but I like pants that hang on my hips, not my waist.

See ya tomorrow girls...stay warm!
