I am on my weight loss journey and intend for this to be my final journey down.

I have started down this road so many times but have stopped for so many reasons, the most common, I like to eat and I don't like to feel deprived.
This time is different, I have recently turned 40, I am done having babies and I found out that I am pre-diabetic. I want to be healthy and active again and the only way to acheive this is hard work. I am ready to put the work in to get the benefits of a longer happier and healthier life.
I have been reading, reading and reading more about weight loss and exercise, trying to find the combo that will work for me. So far I have discovered that I need to limit my carb loads (info gleened from my nutritionist), portion control and exercise. I am two weeks into my journey and have strayed a little but have the determination to succeed and am getting right back to task in the morning.
I am looking for support, accountability and friendship along the way...anyone interested??
