I love, love, love this stuff. I had been using mens deoderant or applying women's brands twice a day. It really works even now that I am working out more. It's worth the extra money
I’ve tried all the Clinical Strength stuff and I still sweat! Is there anything that I can buy over-the-counter that will prevent my underarms from sweating sooo much? It’s a bit embarrassing at the gym…
There is this stuff called Certain-Dri. Walmart and Walgreens are the only places I have found it. It's $8-$10. It is this liquid you apply with a rollerball attachment to your armpits at night before you go to sleep. I've used this stuff on and off for six or seven years now. It's awesome! And then you just apply your normal deodorant in the morning. One thing is, if you shave your arm pits be careful applying it directly after - it tends to sting. But holy crap, it works SUPER well! I've recommended it to two friends before and they agree, it's the best!
PerspireX works great, but I'd be very cautious to use it (or any similar type of anti-perspirant) if you have sensitive skin.
You basically apply it at night for about 5 days in a row (Wash it off in the morning) then as needed which is usually much less over time. You won't even need your regular roll on or whatever.
But again, do not apply it within 24 hours of hair removal and don't go anywhere near it with soaps/scented products either.
In the winter I use a roll on from Holland & Barrett (Not sure if they have this in the USA?) It by Dr Organic (The Aloe Vera one) It has no SLS, parabens or Aluminum in it and it actually works super well and is really soothing to apply. My skin gets oversensitive in winter so I love this.
Personally for exercise though, I'm really not bothered by sweating. I find it satisfying to feel like you've had a really super intense workout then get to wash clean.

Yep - agree wholeheartedly with this. Certain Dri is the best antiperspirant I have ever used. FYI, if it doesn't work for you, you can ask your doctor for a higher concentration aluminum chloride that is available via prescription (I believe Certain Dri is about 11%.
I have always used Secret, just the regular stick roll-on, and have never had a problem. And, I am going back to it now. At Walmart, you can two sticks for about $3 or less. And, it does work.

Agreeeeed. I need to start using it again, I'm starting to smell at the gym
Certain-Dri is the ONLY one that works on me! I'm such a sweater and that is normal at the gym but I got to the point where I was sweating so much in my normal routine and all of my clothes were ruined. Actually, the doctor prescribed Drysol for me which works great but it's too strong for me!! So, I was recommended Certain-Dri which works just as well. I've tried ALL of the "clinical" deodorants and nothing worked. As mentioned above, don't put it on after you shave!! Ouch! I usually dry it with the hair dryer on cool after I put it on and if it starts with the prickling feel, I put some lotion on! It really does work.... LIFE SAVER!
I wasn't able to use Certain-Dri for any length of time because it irritated my underarms. The regular Clinical Strength antiprespirants didn't work that well. But, Secret Clinical Strength Waterproof seems to work for me. Or, for right now it's working. Who knows about next week.
