Thumbs down Food Logs November 9th & 10th

Its the weekend, and only 2 more days before weigh in, I think having Monday's for weigh in keeps me on track for the weekend.

Ok, here is whats planned for today

Breakfast -2 eggs with mozza cheese (doesnt change much)

Lunch- chicken breast with 1 cup bean salad

Supper -mexican chicken (salsa and cream cheese with a bit of cheddar baked in the oven) and 1 cup broccoli.

I'll add snacks later if I have any.

I've been keeping up on my water all week. However this morning when I woke, my hands were all swollen.....as if I had pizza the night before. So I havent figured this one out yet. I didnt have much salt yesterday at all, and drank more than my 80oz of water.......lets just hope its gone by monday morn!

Have a great OP weekend!

Yesterday was a disaster- bran muffin, glazed donut, cheeseburger and small fries, banana, salad, some cheese. Just grabbing whatever was around!

Today I feel so puffy!

Sunday
b- low carb pancake
l-tuna salad, celery
d-ham, green beans, birthday cake

Anyone want to critique this menu? see any problems here?

Default I'll start with Friday...

That's my weighin day.
Friday was my first day back OP, an i know I didn't eat enough food. B=2 slices of peanut butter (Yes, I said slices, that's another story ) 5 gr each
L: 3 slices deli ham, 2 w/sliced american cheese wrapped up in it, the other w/cream cheese.) S: 2 more slices of peanut butter.

Sat: 1 portion breakfast casserole 15 gr L: chicken pesto salad, Sn: too many nuts S:a kind of stew (did have carrots, but no Potatos)

Sun: B= more breakfast casserole L: tortillia soup minus the tortillas, S: steak & my favorite salad."1 boilled egg, chopped, 1 tomato, chopped, 1 avacado choopped, about 1/4 chopped onion, some maynosis & tiny bit of lime juice, delicious.

I've decided to do more of a sugar busters thing this time around and I've really had to fight myself to keep from popping a piece of hard candy in my mouth every so often!!! So far I'm managed, but who knows how long I'll last.

OK, I'll bite. How do you SLICE peanut butter?
I decided my PB jar was just too tempting (I know I vowed I'd never buy the stuff again but I did...so sue me). Anyhow, I mixed it up with some melted suet, oatmeal and bird seed and made bird cakes out of it (for the birds, silly..not for me. )

Today has been sort of strange. I don't really know what I want. This morning I made two different kinds of desserts with the idea that I'll have one a day and I have enough for 10 days. Well, I've already had one of each. LOL I don't think I did too much damage. One of them is "Nookie Pudding" (hey, I didn't name it ) which is softened cream cheese mixed with cocoa powder and whipping cream and vanilla. The other is a simple s.f. strawberry jello with whipped cream.

Breakfast
3 slices bacon
1 egg
1/2 slice sprouted grain bread with 1/2 tsp butter

Lunch
4 oz fried ham
mixed with chopped fried green pepper, mushrooms and green onions and topped with
2 oz mozza cheese melted into it all. Not bad actually.

2 desserts

Now I'm trying to figure out what to do that's new and exciting with plain skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Ho hum. T hat will be for dinner.

For some reason I have not been into ketosis the past couple of days and I think the culprits are:
a) the avocado I ate yesterday
b) the p.b. I got into before giving it to the birds
c) the extra handfuls of almonds I've been munching on.

But, I do have good news. Yesterday I thought my pants were feeling looser and so I measured for the first time in a month. Even though I gained 3 lb over October (I call it Fall Break. ) I have lost 1/2 inch in my waist (the first measurable loss in over a year) and a whole inch off my hips. There is so much loose flab in those two areas that it's hard to get an accurate measurement but this time I'm certain. There's a reason my pants are hanging loose.

Yes, it is soooooo hard to get back on plan after falling off the wagon. I know I've had some rocky days too but am slowly but surely getting back on the wagon.

Breakfast I had 2 fried eggs and one link of sausage

Lunch I had a Greek salad with romaine lettuce, feta cheese, a few olives, capers, a little chicken, and a peppercini basil olive oil dressing.

Snack I had a wasa cracker and a couple of pieces of swiss cheese.

Dinner I just had a piece of pork loin roast and a big helping with brocoli and some cheddar cheese.

Yesterday was NOT a good food day and am trying once again to get back on track...

Default Peanut Butter slices

I buy it at Walmart, it looks like sliced prewrapped american cheese, except it's peanut butter. I fount it about 3 months ago and keep it all the time now. Now if only it came in crunchy!
