Default Weight loss and that "C" word

Hello lovely ladies (and gentlemen)!

I know this is something we all have to deal with when we have, and hopefully lose, fat. I think we all know what this "C" word is. It is disgusting, humiliating, and possibly the worst word in the English language: Cellulite.

Now, I have cellulite up the butt, literally. I am pretty sure it comprises my entire derriere. Have any of you beauties noticed a reduction in this heinous fat since you started your weight loss journeys? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel, or will I have to have the local doc' lipo it out?

I think every woman, like, ever has cellulite unless she's either A.) a bone, b.) an athelete or C.) under 21. I never did get why it was so bothersome.

But yeah, I think the only way to get rid of it is some sort of non-invasive surgery. Though I gotta tell you...I would take your cellulite in a hot second if you give me a weight of 130! I tell you what!

I will say this though it's probably nowhere near as bad as you think it is.

Actually, even a lot of my young athlete friends had cellulite. It was rampant on my girls' soccer team when I was in high school!

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Before I started losing weight, I had the big 'C' too. And it was awful. Six months in and 27lbs lost, I can say.....what cellulite???? My legs are smooth and are firming up and I love it!!

The cellulite on the back of my upper thighs has basically gone away entirely with my weight loss. It must just vary person to person. Might help that I am an avid runner though.

It can def see improvement with weight loss. Mine has had significant improvement.

I do quite a bit of toning work, so building up great muscle definition in addition to reducing my body fat into the teens has made my legs look much much much better. The butt...its a work in progress. It was probably looking better 20lbs ago, most of the fat is gone and it sags more now. So working on toning more to build up the butt muscle to replace where all the fat was

I'm not close to my goal yet, but I have definitely noticed that any cellulite I have on the backs of my thighs and butt is smoothing out. I don't know if that'll continue or whatever, but it's better than it was at my high weight.

I thought cellulite was forever, though... Huh. I don't really know much about it, I guess.

My cellulite got worse before it got better. When I hit 170, it was bad enough for me to rethink losing weight- from the top of my butt to the back of my knees, I had a beautiful lump of cottage cheese.
I noticed a few weeks ago that it had visibly improved. When I'm lying down, I can barely feel it. Time to put away the coffee beans and the saran wrap

No, diamonds are forever and a girl's best friend. Cellulite is not a girl's best friend, therefore it cannot be forever, right???

I just ran my second marathon, but all that exercise over the past three years has done nothing for my booty.

Well it is encouraging to hear. Gravity really took effect on the fat in my body, and all of it (fat/cellulite) is in my bum and back of my thighs. I would like to wear a swim suit without having to wear a sarong.

I have it ... but it plays a game with me. Once I got below 155, it pretty much disappeared ... UNLESS ... I eat something that causes water retention. Salt won't do it, but sugar will. And I finally have weeded out the two artificial colors that will do it. That water retention manifests as puffy hands and ankles, and, yep, cellulite all over my fanny and thighs.
