I do too. It is usually my breakfast staple- 2 packs of the High Fiber Maple & Brown Sugar. 320 calories, 14g sugar, and 20g of fiber. It's easy, it's fast, and it's tasty.
However, I have been trying to cut back on sugar because I noticed EVERYTHING I eat is full of it. I am addicted to sugar! My roommate has Hodgson Mill multi-grain hot cereal so I tried it this morning. It is not flavored at all so I added a few cut up strawberries. 160 calories, 1g sugar, 6g fiber. I must say that it is going to take some getting used to, but it tastes good.
Are you addicted to sugar??? What have you cut out, and what have you replaced it with?
I need sugar in my oatmeal, but I cut back by a lot by using light muscle milk. There are several varieties but I get the vanilla flavor with no added sugar. I only use an ounce or two per bowl. It took some getting used to but now I really dig it. It adds protein too, which is nice.

Right now the cereal I am in love with for so many reasons is Kashi GoLean. I love it so much that I have it for breakfast and lunch. Each meal includes 1 1/2 cups of Kashi GoLean (210 calories, 2g fat, 15g carbs, 12g sugar and a whopping 19.5g of protein!) with one cup of unsweetened Almond Breeze (40 calories, 3.5g fat, 2g carbs, 180g potassium and 0g sugar) and a 1/2 cup of blueberries. I also sprinkle on about 1/4 tsp. of cinammon on the cereal to keep blood sugar stable and cravings at bay. It is so tasty and filling; I never get tired of it. Plus, it...umm...keeps you regular.
Isn't it great when we find foods that we not only love but are healthy for us?

I just eat plain rolled oats - no sugar, fewer calories and cheaper! 1/2 cup has 150 calories, and that puffs up into an entire bowl after they are cooked. You add 1 cup water and microwave for 3 minutes.
I used to add a half of banana to sweeten, but lately I've been using a few packets of stevia (zero calories) and then I put vanilla almond milk over the top. Adding a T of natural peanutbutter (100 calories and no sugar) also make it pretty amazing.
Yum, I want some of this now!!!

I'm addicted to plain Cheerios. I love to sprinkle a dash of brown sugar on them. Back when I ate more soy, I would have them with Silk vanilla soymilk and dried cranberries. SO. GOOD.
I love oatmeal too. Lately I've been having 1 packet of Quaker Low Sugar Maple and Brown Sugar (120 calories), one packet of plain oatmeal (100). Mixed together and made with 1 cup of water. I top it with a packet of truvia, a vanilla Dannon Fit & Light (80 calories) and a huge sprinkle of cinnamon. It makes a huge bowl and it's all around 300 calories. Keeps me full for a long time.

I don't know what I'd do without my bowl of oatmeal. It satisfies on so many levels. I eat plain ol' Quaker or generic, the way Wildflower prepares them. With cinnamon. I splurged on McCann's recently but didn't see any difference.
I use Splenda but would like an alternative. I really don't like it without some sweetener.
the kids and i love vanilla extract and allspice w/sweetener milk and fruit if we have it. i need less sweetener w/vanilla. it smells great! (in oatmeal or cream of wheat)

Reason: in oatmeal
I just was looking at oatmeal in the store today.
I bought the Quaker weight control oats. It is a little higher in calories than some of the other instant oats, but it has 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, and only one gram of sugar. Pretty good, but I do think it is sweetened with sucralose (aka splenda). I just started officially calorie counting today (though i joined this sight a while ago I think oatmeal will be one of my breakfast staples because it is filling.
