Default Suggestions on eating with a 16 month old

I work at home so my breakfast and lunch which I try to make quick and filling are shared with my 16 month old. Does anyone have any suggestions on meal ideas? something I can make quick is the best.

Can you give him whatever you eat just cut it up REALLY small? Quick things I can think of for breakfast are oatmeal or omelettes. For lunch probably pastas with veggies in them.

I have a 14 month old, and we share a lot of the same food too. This morning we had:

eggs, scrambled
toast
yogurt

For lunch we had:
bagel thin with turkey
carrot sticks (for me)
apple (for us)
She also had some cheese chunks with hers. Her bagel was 1/2 of bagel thin, whole, though if your kiddo doesn't do well with biting, you could tear it into small pieces, along with the turkey.

Another typical breakfast is:
toast with peanut butter
banana
yogurt

Typical lunch:
Salad with grilled chicken
cottage cheese
apple

For her portions, I just don't mix things together, like the grilled chicken. On her tray she would have grilled chicken chunks, sliced apples, and I spoon feed her the cottage cheese.

Thanks for the tips. He is a pretty good chewer as long as things are small. Those are really great ideas that are quick and simple for me to do and I think he would love them all.
