I've posted something similar to this before. In January when I joined the forum determined to lose weight. It kinda worked for about 10lbs and then I fell off the wagon and right into a chocolate mousse pie (yum). Now i'm back with renewed determination and a WW membership in tow.
My info: I am 28 and refuse to be a 30-something fatty. I am single and kiddo free and have an awesome job with subpar pay but lots of perks. I have an un-boyfriend that is currently out-to-sea and a roomate that is also my sister and very best friend. I've topped the scale at 220 at my very heaviest and 198 typically. I have a weight goal of 160 and a super secret internal goal of 148. I plan to get there before my thirtieth birthday 4-9-2012. Wish me luck!
HI! Congrats on coming back! Welcome! I did it in a year, (121 lbs lost) and so far i've been holding strong at my goal weight! You can do it! I started at the same age you are, and at a higher weight! Best of luck!!
Thanks GV. Your before/after picture is awesome! I am a bit more like your before than after but at least I have a plan this time. It's taken me about 9 months (with a bit or yo-yoing) to lose 28lbs so I am almost afraid of how long the next 28lbs will take. Hopefully I can stick with WW and hit my goal in record time.
Welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.
