Default Omelet..bleckkk

My first IP packet was the omelet and I loved it, ate it often for breakfast, even stuffed it with my veggies and had it for lunch a few times. Now I find that I can barely choke half of it down, and when I do eat some of it I feel all bloated and gas crampy, has this happened to anyone else? I find lately that I just don't want to eat anything, I'll make the Pina Colada packet with about 3 or 4 times the called for amount of water and just sip that all morning. Then sometimes I can't even make my self eat lunch, this happens especially on the weekends. Weekdays I am at work so I am a little more regimented. But still not really hungry. Most times on Weekends I am sipping a drink all morning, skipping lunch or grabbing a packet of tuna in water and eating it wrapped in lettuce leaves cause I just dont want soup or veggies or even a thick shake like packet. I sometimes eat more veggies or protien at dinner, ALWAYS plan acceptable, of course. And for the last 3 days or so I haven't wanted the snack. I have my third weigh- in tomorrow and I am feeling good, I just wanted input from yall experts.

PS. I didn't drink a drop of alcohol at the function, I sipped water with lemon all night. Had fun to..... YAY me and THANK YOU to everyone who responded I really appreciate all of you!

I eat an omelet almost every day. I like them. But sometimes I make scrambled eggs out of the packet, and I'll cook it up with some broccoli or some peppers, mushrooms, whatever. And hot sauce is a must!

Smile Eating our calories...

I can relate. It's kind of like nothing really sounds good and I get tired of the vegies. I've never liked to cook.

I've only been on IP 2 weeks as well, but from past dieting experience I know they say that if you go to far below recommended calories you can cause you body to stop losing. It goes into starvation mode and holds on to the fat for dear life. (you've probably heard that before?) Plus this diet is even lower calories then most diets out there so I would think it is very important to eat all the calories assigned.

It's the ketosis that takes our hunger a way and that is such a blessing to me! I know it would be so much harder if I was constantly hungry.
Yay for ketosis!

I eat the IP omlet almost every day!! I add mrs. dash seasonings and a spice called Herbs de Provence by McCormick herbs. It is a combination of rosemary, marjoram, thyme, savory, basil, lavender & sage...very tasty.

I bought am microwave omlet maker from WalMart and it is just the right size!!

I usually add in a little Cayenne Pepper to it and make it as scrambled eggs. I have found that it tastes a little dry if I make it as an omlette.

I think it's all about the seasoning with anything that we eat. I may go italian, japanese or indian with my seasonings. It makes me feel like I'm having a variety because I am.

Omlettes are something I didn't think I'd like, but I got a couple to try, then I decided I like them, but now, I can't bring myself to eat one of them.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the blueberry, pom drink for breakfast with some extra water and ice, but I was never a big breakfast eater. I know I'll get bored and need to climb out of this rut, but not today.

The reason to that, could be because you get bored of eating the same things over and over, I am almost on my second week and I've been feeling the same way not interested in food anymore at least not on lettuce and cucumbers but I have to eat it. Play with the food a little and you can make them tastierand more interesting again.

Agreed. I like mushrooms & spinach in my omelettes, or I'll make them into scrambled eggs. Mix with plenty of onion/garlic sea salts & herbs, top with hot sauce!
The IP soups also need some "help." Adding cooked veggies makes them a lot more satisfying and tasty, especially if made the night before.
