Default Finally Back On Plan

Well I've had a very stressful two weeks. My dad ended up in the hospital and they said that he had very little chance of surviving but now it looks like he's going to pull through it. When I found out the news I fell completely off track stopped exercising and counting my calories and went to stay with people in Orlando for a bit. I gained nearly five pounds within the first week and a half. Most of it must have been water weight though because once I started counting my calories again and slowly reintroduced exercise in the past few days most of that weight came back off and now I'm only one pound away from were I was before I went off track. Strangely enough when I went to do my real workout this morning I was able to do more things and I lasted a lot longer then usual. I guess my body may have needed time to heal up from some of the major workouts I was doing before or something it seems really weird. Anyways back on track and hopefully I can stick to it and start seeing results again.

I went through a near-miss crisis with my own dad over the holidays, so I can empathize. I am glad to hear that his prognosis is looking up, and ATTAGIRL for getting back on the horse right away!

I'm glad your Dad is going to be okay. Way to get back into counting calories and exercise.
