Default feeling discouraged....HELP

I woke up this morning feeling a little discouraged. I've been going strong for about 3 weeks now and I just felt like I'm not making any progress although the scale and a few compliments I have received says I am. However, I do not want to let this feeling through me off track...I have still stuck with my routine thus far today. ok I'm feeling a little better after venting....this site is great because otherwise I may have just had a "forget this" moment and done something I would regret later.

Hormones can make us feel all kinds of crazy things, but let your work speak for itself. I think, maybe, you're looking at how far you have left to go, rather than how far you've come, and it can be more than a little overwhelming. But clearly you're doing something right. You're making progress, your body is changing, and I know you can stick with it. ^^

Raznt I'm with you. I want to crazy good results now! And i feel like I should since im working so hard. I realized last night that I really have to be patient. It seems like out of all the stuff i have been reading the first thing people write is " be patient, it takes time....".

So I surrender to patients.....but it is flipping tough!

Grats on those 12 pounds!

Yeah, whenever I get frustrated at how "slow" I am losing, I think back on how long it took me to put the weight on (and most don't go into that as something they are consciously doing, "got to see if I can gain x pounds before xx/xx/xxxx" or anything, so the time frame can be long or short depending). But now that I am consciously trying my hardest (and sometimes just dragging myself along on plan) to drop weight, I figure that it shouldn't take me nearly that long to burn the pounds down, but it will take time more time than I would like as I won't just magically wake up tomorrow and be at a normal weight as much as I daydream about it!

I hope this makes sense, but basically the thin version , you can do this, just keep working on it no matter how long it takes you will get there!

Pop on the mini-goal and goal albums if that'll add a bit more encouragement. Sometimes seeing those images just lights a fire under my butt. So that's my suggestion!
