Default Toning Sneakers and Insoles?

I lost close to 100 pounds over the last 2 years and have (in addition to watching my calories) walked for exercise every day. I have worn both the MBT Trainers and the SmartSole Exercise Insoles. Does anyone else use toning footwear? I think they have really helped me. I heard about the SmartSole from my Weight Watchers group and got them on Amazon as they had the cheapest pricing. The MBT's were a gift from my husband for Christmas and cost about $200. The SmartSole was under $30 and are very comfortable. I like that I am toning my legs and burning extra calories while I am simply running my errands.

I am going to get into hula hooping as soon as I can figure out what to get

I have a pair of shoes like that (but from a different company) and ordered another pair recently. I exercise outside of walking too so who knows what's due to that and what's due to the shoes, but my legs are looking much better these days. If nothing else, they're very comfortable and I'm sure they don't hurt!

dailyoink, are the smartsoles something you need to put in the toning sneakers, or will any sneakers do? I hadn't heard of them before. Do they work the same as the toning sneakers?

I had kind of written those things off as they were too pricy for me, but I could do $30 for insoles. I'm glad you mentioned them...

I have a pair of Sketcher Shape Ups that I wear for work waiting tables, so I'm walking in them a LOT, and I have to say that other than being very comfortable, I haven't seen a lot of difference in weight loss or toning.
