Default Help!!! More excersize=more calories???

Ive decided to go to the gym 5 days a week to help the weight loss. I do the body works plus abs class. It uses 5 pound weights. Its an hr class. I sweat like crazy. Its cardio and weights put together. Its sit ups, push ups and everything in between. ive been eating about 1300 calories a day and 1500 on sat and sun. If you eversize daily should u up your calories??? Or can I stay with what im eating? I dont want to pass out or be starving after

I think you're eating enough, but if you feel like you're starving, you could try increasing your calories a bit. A safe amount of weight to lose a week is 1% of your body weight, so if you weigh 270 then you can safely lose 2.7 pounds. So with your workouts if you find yourself losing more than that, then you should up your calories a bit, but if you under that amount then you should keep eating what you're eating. Just play around a bit until you find what works out for you. Good luck

You may need to look not so much at increasing your calories but shifting the timing of your calories to fuel the workout and aid recovery.

I was going to suggest calorie cycling so you get more fuel on days where you workout a lot. Especially if you're doing weight training.

I see nothing wrong with you averaging 1500 a day for the week if you're starving. A few extra calories on some days might be all you need...just make sure it's good quality calories that'll fuel your body and not just crap. 200 calories can go a long way if you're smart about it.
