Hi all
This is my first post. I'm a 26yr old cook and a weigh 155kg (342lbs). I'm only at the beginning of my weight loss journey, though is doesn't feel like it!
Why is it that when dieting one week feels like a month, however when not dieting the days pass in a blink of the eye
Anyway i think i've found a new home and hopefully a lot of new friends who have walked a day in my shoes.

I'm going to go explore now!

Welcome! I think the problem is that we often do not make that life transition, well I know we do not right away, so it seems like a struggle and takes a lot of time to learn how to take care of ourselves. We view that as dieting and lol I'm back to square one in a lot of ways again as I just had a regain. So, here I am where every meal is a chore, but I will say that once things get moving it is less of a chore and it does become more and more into a lifestyle.

I'm finding though that when I make great choices for myself, I feel better, I move more, and I'm just happier! Things don't seem like a chore when you're happy!

Welcome! Good luck on your journey. Just remember this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. You want to make positive changes that will stay with you and affect your life for a very long time.
