[Everlasting]

Hey all!

Well, I love 3FC and I am always more motivated and able to stay on plan when I get to log on here and chat with people who are like myself struggling to manage their weight and get healthy.

Though from June 8th to August 13th I enter the world of supervisory staff at a summer camp for kids with disabilities. It is in the land of backwoods, no technology/internet. Which I absolutely LOVE, but it makes 3FC impossible.

This will be my 6th year working there, and it is an extremely, extremely, extremely high stress job with a lot of responsibility. I also am not on great terms with my own supervisor, who is extremely nit picky and has the habit of insulting me daily. Meals are served family style, and a thing about it is that they are "healthy" meals designed to nourish mal-nourished underweight children. Lots of home made breads, pastas, and desserts. All the food is delicious. (The staff never benefits from this though!) It is like a trigger for emotional eating with the stress and adequate supply of food. Haha...

Plus, it is summer camp. So there are lots of s'mores. I do NOT want to have a set back in these upcoming 9 weeks that I'll be away from my normal, comfortable, relaxing home and routine. I KNOW that I can maintain my plan while I am there, because since it is a health camp, they also serve lots of fruits and veggies, have a salad bar, and there are lots of ways to get physical exercise.

SO, I was wondering if there was anybody who would like to be a snail-mail penpal with me this summer. I know I will not have too much time to write, but at least once a week I think it would be helpful for me to be able to write about how I've been doing on plan and still have some sort of accountability, and just to be able to hear from someone else. I don't know... I think it's the knowledge that I'm really not alone in all this.

So if there is someone that is perhaps around my age (20-somethings) either in the same situation or who simply likes to write letters, and would be interested in some more mutual encouragement, well, send me a PM and we could see about exchanging addresses. Looking forward to hearing from ya!
