Default Vision Boards and Weight Swings...

So, I decided to try and relax tonight by doing a vision board. I figured having a collage of things I want in my life would help me to stay focused and happy and I am using the board on Oprah's site, and I really like it.

Is anyone else using a vision board?

So, it will be about 4 months tomorrow since I started my journey, and just under 15lbs lost, or about 3-4lbs lost per month. not super stellar, but I must admit when I look in my fridge that 1) i haven't cooked much this month and 2) my dinners are more snack-ish (chips and salsa or soup and croutons), and 3) I haven't been good about watching carbs or sugar. So, while I haven't gone completely off the wagon and been bingeing, I haven't been avoiding certain foods. so, I can't be upset about the not losing much weight. although, I do hope that I have a whoosh thing and lose a few more pounds before June.

Do any of you have odd weight fluctuations? or habits about how your body releases the weight?

A vision board is a great idea. I'm a scrapbooker, so that brought all sorts of ideas to mind!!

I seem to be kind of in a rut at the moment. Hovering. But, I think I'm also saving up for TOM.

But, I've lost 40 pounds since surgery, so I can't complain!!

Way to go!!

I like the online vision board, as I can make multiple types, and I can change it and all of that. It was a lot of fun and relaxing working on it yesterday. I just put in things I want for my life---a nice new kitchen, better eating habits, more exercising, being happy.

Oh I love this idea! When I lost about 50lbs right after high school I had a "fitness notebook" that I covered with pictures, ideas, etc. similar to this idea. Love having something to actually look at to help motivate!
