Default Medifast Brownies

I'm back on the Medifast wagon (taking allergy meds... so we'll see if I can handle this - had a soy reaction last time).

Just received Medifast Brownies for the first time.

I'm in LOVE with them!

Would love to hear (although they are perfect as is) if anyone has played with the heating time, adding flavor drops or something else fantastic that I have missed.

I just made the brownie today, topped with thick vanilla pudding (pudding mix + just less than 4 oz water) stuck it in the freezer for a bit, topped with a little walden farms chocolate syrup. Yum!!! I ate 1/2 for one meal and will have the rest in a couple hours. It would be really good without the choc syrup too, but I just found it at the grocery store today so I wanted to try it.

Oh man I am so jealous of you all. I just found out I am allergic to the soy in Medifast, it ruined my bladder and now I have over $400.00 in products. I am hoping one day my bladder will repair itself but for now, my doctor told me soy is toxic to me. But I have tried the brownies and they are very good. The program has worked for me in the past but this being the 3rd time, the soy was just too much. Good luck to all on this program. I did learn that too much soy is not good for you so everyone please be careful, make this diet your last diet so you dont have to keep going bac to it because doing that damaged my bladder and now, its irreversible for me. Just be careful about soy consumption.

Suzie, that is really too bad, so sorry that happened to you. I never heard of soy harming the bladder. I will have to look into that.

I use a lot of whey based products like Hot Cocoa, Chai, Cranberry Mango Drink. I think there's enough without soy that you can do it with just those. Medifast usually will exchange products by mail... maybe that would work for you?

I didn't really care too much for the brownies - but I was thinking they might be better with something on top - love the idea of the vanilla pudding on top - will have to try that

I wasn't with my first one, but once I tweaked it's much nicer.

4 Tbs water, nuke for 1 minute and put in the freezer for 1/2 -1 hour...yummy.

I do mine super similar to mready! 4tbsp water (on occasion 3tbsp water and 1tbsp sugar free syrup.. caramel) then microwave for 50 secs, stick in the freezer and eat within an hour!
Yummy!

I did at first as well, but then it was a really hot day. Actually if you underbake it a little, then toss in the freezer, the slightly undercooked part tastes like fudge to me! omnom!
