Another indication that my body is happy with this WOE - checked my blood pressure today at the drugstore, and it was 121/85. My blood pressure hasn't been that low since I was in my early 20's! I know that's technically still in the pre-hypertension category, but it's a whole lot better than it's been for a very long time.
I don't know if this WOE is the right one for anyone else - we each have to find our own path - but it seems to be the right one for me.
I upped my calories a bit and the lightheadedness/weakness went away - in fact today I was able to do 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and I was happy about that.
The best part of all is still my mood. I tried every antidepressant out there, and I was still miserable all the time. I kept hoping I'd get some fatal disease so that I wouldn't have to be alive anymore. I had a lump in my breast that got taken out a few years ago, and when the biopsy came back negative, I cried - not from relief but because I was hoping it was cancer. My plan was to just let the cancer do its thing. The idea of being able to finally escape life seemed like such a wonderful idea.
This is the first time in my entire life, that I can remember, that I've felt well and felt happy about being alive. That's a really, really really big deal to me.
Woo hoo! Blood pressure is the lowest it's been in decades!
