Default Ready to wear all of my clothes with tags...

Hi everyone,

I have soooooo many clothes with tags still on them at least 75% of my closet, and it's so frustrating to have cute clothes that I can't fit. I'm 26, in grad school, in love, with a nice job, and I'm not happy with myself at all. I smile all the time and I can get dressed and look good, but I'm always uncomfortable. I want to lose about 25lbs. I want my body toned and I want to be comfortable with my body. I want to be free of my insecurities. I'm starting weight watchers on Monday and I'm excited and more determined than ever because it's time!!!!!! I would love to hear about how weight watchers has helped you. I'm excited to get to know all of you and help you through our weight loss journey any way that I can.

Hey. And welcome. I've tried WW many times before and just never been able to stay commited to it. But it's definitely the program for me (calorie counting is too exact and stresses me out, and low carb just isn't for me). I go to meetings, and I love my meeting leader. A lot of people here just use WW online and get their support here. But for me my meeting day is like my reset day: i weigh-in in the morning, go grocery shopping, work out, and I feel brand new!
Good luck in getting into those clothes! I had a couple items with tags (some so old ther aren't fashionable anymore!), and I have one pair of never been worn jeans left that I'm really excited to get into!

I have been going to WW since April 2008. I have lost almost 97 lbs in that time. Before WW I had no idea what to eat and how much to eat. Now I feel like I have a good grasp of what will benefit me and what won't. I love going to meetings too. It really keeps me focused and accountable to myself. It took me several months before I added activity, but now it is a daily thing for me. Going to WW has totally changed my life. Good luck to you!

Loved hearing this. While my WW sign-up date was Oct 2008, I didn't REALLY start doing it until April 2009, one year after you. I look forward to reporting a similar loss this time next year!

I've lost 36 lbs. since July 26th on WW this time, and I'm lower than I've been since I was in my teens (I'm 37!). I also lost 60 lbs. on WW after I had my two kids, though some of that had found me again. What was most exciting for me was starting to wear size 14 jeans again a couple of weeks ago. After years and years in 18s and larger, I feel amazing. High school was the last time I wore a 14!!!

It really works. It's all about moderation and portion control. If you can keep yourself from feeling deprived, you can do it long term. And WW gives you the tools to keep from feeling deprived.

Chavonne,

It really works. It may seem hard at first, but give it a few weeks to set in. It gets much easier as you get used to it. Every time I start, the first two weeks are the hardest. But then I've got my favorite foods' point values memorized and tracking gets easier, and my body has gotten used to eating less and I feel less hungry.

Still, I have days where I eat a lot of filling foods because I feel hungry! Stick with it!
