Default 5 Sizes Down Need a Buddy to Finish the Race

Hello All,
I haven't written a post in ages but it's good too see a lot of people still here.

So here's my situation, I've lost roughly 100lbs (but have stopped weighing myself because it was driving me crazy) and now I just track my sizes and inches. I'm 5'3 and I've gone from a size 24 go a size 12 on top and 14 on the bottom. It's been almost 3 years since I lost the weight and I've managed to maintain which I'm very proud of but I haven't lost the rest. I want to get down to a size 4/6 which seems to be s good range for my height and I'm looking for a buddy to help me do it.

Up until this point I've pretty much lost weight on my own. To start I worked with a Holistic Health Counselor for 6 months then I pretty much followed a whole foods diet and exercised and weight trained 6 days a week at home, because I hate the gym. I also started running in the process which helped me lose weight rather quickly in combination with a vegan diet. I've slacked off a bit but I've figured out how to do just enough to keep my weight where it is now, I've pretty much created a new set point.

So here's what I'm looking for: I'd like to buddy up with someone who's been on the weight loss journey a while who has similar goals. I'd like for us to check in with each other regularly, report progress, be accountable and keep each other motivated. If you think we might be a good match just let me know.

Sincerely,
Lola

well without some extra information, it is impossible to tell if 4/6 will be healthy for you. Sometimes it looks good on paper, but isn't so hot on you.

I could never wear a 4/6. The skinniest, I've been, I've been a size 8, and I was THIN. I think it has to do with body structure more than people realize.

Congrats on the 100 lbs! That is a major accomplishment.

I know there are a couple of "last few lb" ladies around here, I'm sure on of them would love to join you, I have a loong way to go.

Hi Jen,
Thanks. I like that "last few lbs", that probably should've been the name of this thread. I hear what you're saying, I guess I'll know for sure once I get a little bit closer to my goal. But that's really why I focus more on size and measurements as opposed to numbers on the scale, which can be so misleading. You may have a ways to go but it doesn't look like you've got too much to lose.

Best to you
