Default Over 2 weeks on plan - so glad!

I had two great trips in October - one to visit my dad for his birthday and one to Vegas. Fabulous food was involved on both trips - that was definitely worth it! After trying on a pair of jeans a few weeks ago and discovering they were uncomfortably tight, I pledged to get back on plan and get back to my "comfy" weight.

I am so glad I did! After only two weeks, all my clothes are fitting again and the scale is back to 132. I have two lbs of pure "vanity weight" I'm going to keep trying to lose, but I'm already where I want to be.

I don't know why I struggled with doing it for so long, it seemed to hard to stop my daily latte/biscotti or my square of dark chocolate after dinner or go back to bringing the measuring spoon to work to measure my salad dressing. It's been pretty easy after all.

I had a huge success yesterday, wearing a hot above the knee wool pencil skirt with tights and boots. I felt hot and thin all day, definitely worth any number of biscottis!

Note to self, since this happened two years in a row - wearing a lot of very forgiving summer skirts (I seem to always gain weight first in my hips/butt which skirts tend to forgive) makes it tough to switch to fall clothes! I need to be more accountable to the scale and less to my skirt waistbands!

Yea for you Glory! I am so hoping if the time ever comes that I find myself below the yellow line...(I mean above my red line) , that I will be able to do exactly what you have done. Stop that upward trend dead in it's tracks, get back to the basics and do what needs to be done. Thanks for proving it is possible to get right back on track! You are an inspiration!
