Still new, not sure if possible

Is there a way to bookmark or "friend" certain blogs so that you get an email update when they are updated? There are so many great blogs, but I can't follow them all, and I have more in common with some people's weight loss struggles than others.

any insights would be appreciated

I just have a blogroll so I can see my friend's blogs with a click, also on the right side of the 3fc blogs it shows who has recently updated.
