Default Have any cloth diaper users tried cloth menstraul pads?

I generally have very light periods and as I was reading up on the cloth diapers as suggested in my "Wet Mornings" post, I noticed that there are also reusable cloth menstrual pads.

I am VERY interested in these, but would like some feedback from women who use them.

Specifically, how do you clean them? Do they stain easily, retain the stain?

Info, please......

I use them

They are way more bullet proof than Always, I wash them with my diapers right now, but when I didn't have anyone in diapers I would wash them with the darks... you rinse them before you put them in your little bucket or what ever you want to use, and they don't stain all that badly, if you rinse them right after use with cold water they don't stain at all.

I have recently seen cloth tampons.. but that just scares me to even think about... but then I hate tampons to begin with.

Smile I want to use them, but I don't have my own washer and dryer yet.

As soon as I do, I will be getting them. I am most interested in the "Glad Rags". They also have sea sponge tampons, but like said earlier, the cloth and sponge tampons scare me, too. I really like the Diva Cup. So I will be trying these as soon as I don't have to go to laundry mat.
Good post.

I bought some to use postpartum and I liked them way more than disposable pads. My friend makes and sells them and the fabric she uses is shades of red, so any staining there is doesn't show up. I'll probably go back to my Diva Cup once my cycle starts up again since I like it more, but I could see myself continuing to use the mama cloth from time to time.

For cleaning, I just toss them in with baby's diapers.

I have several different types from HyenaCart also. I use a Diva Cup (love it!) but also use cloth as a back up.
