Default Listerine Pocketpaks are they OK?

Hello there to everyone out there. I'm new to this fourm but not to this board. I'm doing the atkins diet again. What I wanted to know is about the listerine pocketpaks. Are they ok to use during induction? The negative thing about this diet is the bad breath that you get. I read where it has no calories and no carbs but the asparmte( spelled wrong is the problem). I would think that a small breath strip couldnt possibly knock you out of ketosis, but wanted to be sure.

Yes, you are correct, Listerine pocketpacks do contain aspartame. I personally avoid anything with aspartame due to the negative reports it has received as well as Dr. Atkins stating it should be avoided.

What would you recommend to use to help with the stinky breath? I'm carrying around a toothbrush and toothpaste now. someone mentioned the cinnamon ones has surcose which is splenda.

There is only a handful of breath fresheners that do not contain Aspartame, Zapp gum (online) it has Xylitol which is supposed to be excellent for teeth in preventing cavities which is on their website & Trident sugar free (if i remember right) & some Certs products are Aspartame free....they all list ingredients on the pack so just check till you find one. Hope this helps!
