Default Cheeses

Ok so according to a phase 1 Atkins download I got from their main site you can only have 3-4 oz of cheese a day, but there are lots of zero carb cheeses (the hard, more natural ones that aren't processed). Can you have too much of these zero carb cheese on phase 1 or beyond?

First things 1st....stay far far away from that Atkins site There have been way too many changes since Atkins Nutritionals Inc. took over after Dr. Atkins death. You may want to look at Veronica Atkins site (Dr. Atkins wife) for more accurate to the plan info....http://www.veronicaatkinsfoundation.org/
You are correct, on Atkins Induction, cheese is limited to 3-4 oz. of only certain cheeses. ALL cheese contains carbs and needs to be counted as such. Other softer cheese's...such as ricotta & cottage cheese is added during the 2nd phase of Atkins, OWL (On Going Weight Loss).
Cheese is a common "staller" for a lot of people...it is also constipating...limiting it to the suggested amounts is strongly recommended.

Thanks so much! Cheese has always been one of my diet stallers, lol so I guess it couldn't be 'free' on this one!
