Default Bathing Suits!

I figure I need to break down and buy a swimsuit this summer. I'm trying to find one, most likely a 1 piece, that has an underwire bra in it? I'm hoping to find one with a hidden underwire. The few that I've found are horribly boring and/or ugly! Any suggestions?

Figleaves.com! They have bra sized swimwear. I actually just ordered a bikini from them with padding and underwire in the top. I'll be wearing a tank top over it unless I'm just in the back yard swimming, but I have a fairly long torso and didn't want to chance a one piece... haha.

Bathing suits - ugh!

Have you tried Land's End or Lane Bryant?

I got a real cute suit from Torrid. If I get enough guts I'll take a pic with it on.

I just got a really nice suit at Always For Me (they're on the web). They have alot of great styles. I went for a tankini that is shirred on the front and sides (which hides bumps and bulges).

Just my Size has some very pretty suits, some up to size 30 I believe. I have purchased a couple of their suits and they are pretty nice. Land's End has beautiful suits for up to size 24-26. Woman Within has some nice suits. If you are more super sized you can find some pretty stuff for a price at Silhouettes, Ulla Popken, Roamans and can even have one made for you at Love Your Peaches. These will cost more as they are custom made and you can choose the style and fabric.

If you're plus-sized, Old Navy has a couple of nice one-piece suits with an underwire, and their entire collection for women's and women's plus swimwear is on sale at the moment.

Im not sure where to "shop" for them... but what I found looks nice on my body is anything in that old, 50s style one pieces.

I am not looking forward to the bathing suit try-on process. My old one is too big (which is a good thing) but I'm still not comfortable looking for a new one.

Last year, the one I bought was a 2 piece tank top but from the maternity section. It was actually pretty flattering because it just looked like a loose cut on the bottom and disguised some mid-section chunk.

I just bought a bathing suit at JC Penney's. I haven't worn one in years! It's a one piece with a little skirt. I thought I would never buy a bathing suit with a skirt, but this one was sooo cute and covered all my problem areas(including excellent support for the 'girls'!) so now I can be confident and comfortable at the beach.

Try Victoria Secrets--several of theirs have underwire and they are cute. Online is much better than store selection.

I just bought this suit from Lands' End. I just tried it on and LOVE IT!

And, I almost bought this one, with underwire.

Good luck!

I just got a Halter tankini top with those cute board shorts at Target. The halter seems to support the girls better than the last time I attempted a bathing suit! I want to swim this summer and I will feel less self conscious in this set.

Do you have Marshalls or TJ Maxx in the area? I love Marshalls for last years $80 designer suits at 1/4 of the cost!

I just posted in another thread... but I made my own. Just got a pair of black "biker" shorts kind of only shorter than most biker shorts... paired them with a black tank top and can wear a bra with it. Works great! Cheap too.
