Thumbs up No birthday cake! Yes!
Today we had a birthday dinner/party for my father-in-law. There were actually 2 cakes and I didn't have any. Instead I got the veggie tray and ate raw veggies. Veggies over cake....yes, indeed, this was a mini-goal. I am beginning to change my thinking.

you go girl! today at our staff meeting they had cupcakes (my favorite) and cookies and even made ice cream sundaes for every one.. and I too ate veggies.. carrots and cucumbers... a victory and mini goal indeed! I never thoguth I'd be able to turn it down! good for you!

Thank you all. Yes I really feel good about it. Maria, yeah for you too. For some reason, I did not even WANT the cake and I just hope and pray that I continue to make good decisions. YIPPEE FOR ME! (and Maria)
