Default Need some advice please

Hello all, I have done WW off and on for years. Recently I was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease which means I can't eat any gluten (protein found in wheat, rye, barely, sometimes oats). So, my eating habits have been completely changed and just now getting the hang of it.

I wanted to do WW again but wanted to try it first before I spent the money to actually join. I have WW information from the last year before they started the Momentum program. My question is this-is the new program so different that using my old materials won't give me a fair idea if I can handle WW? Any feedback that you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I never did the old program, I have just started weight watchers for the first time and they were already switched over to the momentum program. From what I've heard from other people, it's pretty much the same, but now you have to track your points all the time and focus on healthy foods.... they want you to have 5 servings of fruits/veggies, 2 servings of healthy oils, 6 glasses of liquids and 2 servings of dairy minimum.
You could always just go to one meeting, get the new materials, and use the new materials to do it on your own if that's what you want to do!

Thanks Mandik, I appreciate you giving me the heads up. I think I am just going to track my points with my old info for a week to see if I can stick with it first. My DH will kill me if I spend more money on a diet that I can't stick with (well, not kill me but won't be very happy). Anyway, thanks again for your help!!

WW Online has free trial, I think it's one week. That might be a good way to see how it works for you with a GF diet. That's what I did at fitst, sonce I'm on a dairy-free & soy-free diet. (I also do a lot of GF cooking, since some of our friends are gluten intolerant. )
