Talking Kendra Wilkinson *Sleep Diet*

If anyone watched The Girls Next Door, you may remember the time kendra mention her sleep diet, sleeping in past breakfast and past lunch, you wake up and have dinner! haha i laughed cuz i have somewhat of a sleep diet! I love sleeping in on weekends and skipping breakfast, then i can use my weight watchers points for a yummier bigger lunch and dinner OR i can erase those points i would have used at breakfast and forget about them! As a trick sometimes when i get home from class or work and its that time between lunch and dinner, ill be hungry and decide to take a nap to keep myself from eating anything!

Am i the only one who uses the sleep diet? haha

We might get boo'ed off the stage for skipping breakfast, but yes! I never really liked breakfast anyway so I'm perfectly happy to sleep through it. In college I used to take naps so I wouldn't snack before dinner. I used to get out of class at 3pm-ish and lay down until a more reasonable dinner time.

I love taking naps after a meal, then I won't be tempted to overeat or go for desert!

I actaully was talking with my therapist the other day about this. She brought up the point that when you sleep in, you're body is less active during the day - and therefore needs less calories. So if you skip breakfast, you don't necessarily have those extra calories because you aren't burning them during the day. So you may just end up eating extra. be careful!

Interesting point, but I think I stay up that much later at night (And i'm pretty active at night), so I think it balances out

There was an article in Glamour magazine - http://www.glamour.com/magazine/2009...hile-you-sleep -
They had all these women sleep at least 8 hours a night and they all lost weight. That sounds like a diet i could live with.

hhahaha i also think kendra is like one of the most annoying people on earth but i have a friend who is trying to lose weight and we also discussed how we go to bed earlier to keep from midnight snacking. i would be bored at night and not tired so id go on the internet with plenty of snacks at hand of course, now i get extra rest and have a much more active day!
