Daily Pledge
I am going to make this a wonderful day.
I can accomplish anything that I set out to do.
My health is important, so I'll continue to exercise and eat right to make the most of it.
Every day I get a little stronger, a little wiser and a little happier.
Success is not in never failing, but in rising each time you fall.
It is within my power to become a healthy, trim person.
I am doing this for me.
Excuses are not my style, I find ways to make things happen.
No matter what happened yesterday, today I begin all over again.
Time is on my side. Every hour that I practice healthy habits, I get closer to my goal.
The healthy person I am becoming is not a dream, but a vision of the future ... and I have the power to make it happen.
My body deserves respect.
Worthwhile things ... like my health ... require patience and work.
Even the slimmest K.O.P.S. started out as overweight T.O.P.S. members. What sets them apart is that they stuck with it.

All my goals are within reach if I care enough to work towards them

That was awesome. I copied it for my chapter. My scale is showing a 2 pound lost this week, already. Gotta be the stress. My dad is trying to play us. He is crying and wanting to come home. Says he can't live with out her. my brother is kinda playing into it. Thinking that dad is changing. I'm convienced that if he comes home it will be the same thing. Not wanting our help. What is really hard, is dad called us everything not nice in the hospital. I know that isn't like him to be toward us, but I know that is how he is with mom. And that is my concern. She has taken it for years. When does it stop. It's the hardest thing for me in the world to see my dad like this. But again, I really don't think it is fair to mom. I know through thick and thin. But he is getting worse. I know he is sick. ok enough. If my weight loss is correct, I want a meeting on Monday. I know we can do this ladies. CRAZY4CARBS you are doing awesome. could you share what you are doing? Christian how are you doing. Penny great loss, Sher where are you? Sherri how is it going. We have a girl at work that joined cuves, in one week she lost 7 pounds. She is also bike riding on the days she doesn't do the curves. So I know that curve thing works. So you keep it up, you will have a great loss next Thursday. Eleni I think that you had a loss last week too, weigh to goal girl.
And all you ladies that had a loss or are working hard, or working some on this thing, God bless ya, and keep going.
CC still haven't heard from you girl, where you at.
Well that's all girls. I'll visit later. It's off to walmart, to get some grocerys

Default Be Safe this Holiday Weekend!!

Good Morning Ladies
Where has the month of May went. Somehow I have missed part of it. Time sure does seem to be flying by. I am sorry that I wrote such a book yesterday on the thread. But at least I wasnt eating. Hubby and I went for our walk this morn. Walked 2 miles. Took the dog with us. She loves it. But by the time we are starting back she is starting to slow down. Does anyone have any big plans for the weekend. The only thing we are going to do is cook out on Mon. We are going to my Mom and Dads farm and cook on the fire pit. Having hamburgers, hot dogs and kielbasa. I am fixing pasta salad. And I think my Mom is making Macaroni salad. Not sure what else we will have. But if we just have Hamburgers and hot dogs that is fine with me.
Does anyone else do this. Just because they are exercising they think they can eat more. I think that may be some of my problem. I think ok. I rode the bike or walked. So I can have a little more to eat. Then I overeat. And then it didnt' pay off to exercise. I need to do more to work off what I ate.
Well ladies I better get off here. Just wanted to check in. I hope everyone is doing ok. I am thinking of all of you. Have a good day.

Shortstack..sorry to hear about all the grief you are going thru with your parents. Things will work themselves out. (((Shortstack))

This is how I eat..(TY for the complement BTW )

I eat only low to non fat foods. NO SODA.I was a 2 litre a day Coke drinker .I only drink water and decaf coffee. I try not to eat past 6 pm. I have been walking about 25 min a day , except for weekends, its hard with the kids and hubby is home for the weekend so I want to spend as much time possible with him. I dont see him all week. I rarely eat sweets anymore except for an occasional one when I cant stand it anymore. It used to eat half a low fat little debbie to curb my craving but they discontinued them!

Im hopng to get my walking time up. I ordered a pair of NIKE cross trainers for $19.99 on clearance!! WWW.JUSTFORFEET.COM

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday My husband is due home at 5
