Default Non Scale Victory....

I am so so proud of myself today. My co worker brought these yummy looking donut holes into work today. I could have had 1 or 2, as I am counting calories, and allow myself to have things like this - I just cant over do it. Anyway, I looked at them, and wanted to eat one whole package myself, but I resisted.

I didn't have ANY of them!!!

That's the only kind of victories I have since I threw the scale out LOL!

CONGRATULATIONS!! Really one of the lessons I have to learn is I don't have to eat something just because it's THERE.

Great for you--way to do it. There is a Dunkin' Donuts on my running path in the morning. This morning I could smellllll them. It made me want them which is unusual for me at this point. Thank heavens I run with no money.

that's so wonderful!! you totally made the right choice since once you had one it would have been all too easy to just keep popping them in your mouth. congratulations- that's definitely a step in the right direction!

Thanks! I just really feel good about not having any of them - there were still some left yesterday, and I didn't even feel that tempted.

We're always getting junk food at our office - we have this oral surgeon's office that is always sending us pies, cakes, chocolate, bagels all kinds of things. And to be able to say no to these donut holes, was huge for me. And hopefully it will carry over when we get the other crap.

I could have had them, and just some how figured out the calories, but it wasn't worth it to me. I'd rather have a good dinner, and possibly a snack after dinner, than eat my calories in 2 or 3 donut holes
