Yup, it's allowed, Greeneyed. I use it when I'm making something that it just seems wouldn't work well with WW bread, though I try to make it a fairly rare part of my diet because it's easy to OD on it.
It works exceptionally well in that stuffing recipe, though. The acidity in the sourdough against the sweetness of the pears and the spices in the turkey sausage is delish!
