Default Fresh Veggies!

OK, I couldn't find my original thread so I'm starting a new one to say THANKS! I had posed the question how to keep veggies fresher longer and everyone helpfully posted about the plastic bowls and the green bags.

I purchased the green bags and can't believe how much longer my veggies are lasting, saving me money!!!!!! For instance, last week I bought celery and forgot it was in there under my lettuce, I just pulled it out, and normally it'd be so limp I'd toss it,.... but it was crispier and fresher than the day I bought it!!!!!!!!!!

I'm saving so much money with these bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So,

Yes! Debbie Meyer Green Bags!

I literally have plums sitting on my counter that I've had for 3 weeks. Still good.

We actually got rid of our crisper in our fridge and use stackable plasticware and get a lots more time from our fruit and vege. We are in an organic coop so get a massive amount of vege every fortnight and packing it away into the individual containers really helps with keeping it fresh

I saw them in our local grocery stores, and I know Bed, Bath & Beyond and Linens & Things carries them.
