Question Newbie

Started a walking program and WW at home.
No results yet??? Been at it for 2 weeks now. How long does it take to begin to loose? I am 5'3" and 170 lbs, over 50 years of age. Help, need support!

To answer your question about weight loss.

Everyone loses weight differently. Some lose a lot all at once and then slow down, while others start slow and may speed up later. There are other combinations, but you get the point.

Just keep your head up and don't give up. We are all in this together.

Angry

I am not new here but am starting again. I have been to weight watchers twice before, with a little success. But now I am 15lbs heavier than the first time I started and will be doing it at home this time. I am using my 1-2-3 points with my Palm Pilot. I have all the tools, just need to get with it. It has been 2 days so far. I am 5'4", currently 189. Its a great program if you stick with it. I would like to join the weekly weigh ins for accountability too.

Smile Good Luck to Everyone

I am also going to join in the weighins as soon as I start Wednesday, May 29th. I think that is a super way for accountability for those of us doing the at home ww program. My husband is very supportive and will be my "ww coach" as well so I feel good about having all this support system around as I begin to start my weightloss efforts. I wish everyone much success.

What is the 1-2-3 plan? I heard about it in advertisments a few years ago but I am not familiar with WW. How is it different then the Winning Points plan?

Good luck with your weight loss! We are all in this together.

I am not sure how it is different as they began the winning points after I left. I think it is pretty much the same but they count the fiber differently???
Down another pound this morning! I know we shouldn't weight everyday, but can't help it, down 4lbs so far in not even a week!!!
Good luck to you-

After I posted the question to you, I found another site which did say the 1-2-3 plan and the Winning Points plan are very similar.

Congrats on your weight loss today! Keep it up!
