Default Hi there from Ontario, Canada!! I'm a little bit country!!
Hi there!

I am new here today and I'm really enjoying all that I'm seeing so far on this board!

I have a country lifestyle and live with my hubby on our dairy farm. I have a passion for horses and currently have 17 of the equine species! I train and sell gaited Tennessee Walking Horses and I love the smooth ride they give on long trail rides. I also ride with my 2 daughters on a drill team (musical ride with horses) and we have a really big performance coming up in November 10-16, 2008 that I really want to look better for...only a month away...I hope to lose another 10 lbs for that mini-goal. PM me to get the address to visit my drill team website to learn more about what I do in my spare time! It is sooooo much fun and terrific exercise as well!

I have been calorie counting for my weight loss so far and I have lost 35 lbs so far. I still have another 50 lbs to go in order to be at goal weight of 140 lbs. I'm getting there, but I find I've slowed down a lot this past month...so, I need to kick-start again and get re-committed and re-motivated!! I'm hoping to have some responses, friendship and support here to help me along my journey. Please feel free to PM me anytime as I would like to meet new friends on the board.

It's the Canadian holiday of Thanksgiving this weekend ...so its going to be tough to eat just a little bit of all those good things...I'm going to measure everything and try and do portion control to keep on track during this weekend.

I am Canadian but live in California so does that still count LOL. Welcome to the boards. I will be back home in November and I can't wait!!!!!! beyond homesick but dreading all the foods I can't get here EEEEKKK. Congrats on the 35lbs and sending lots of will power dust to get you through the holidays lol!!!

I know that feeling, homesick. I was in Jamaica for 7 months and missed Tim Horton's every single day. Don't you know, the first thing I did when I arrived back at the Toronto airport, was "RUN" to Timmies and got a coffee. ha ha ha. People just don't know what their missing.

Hi and welcome. I'm in eastern Ontario half the time and sunny San Diego the other half

I envy you badly right now. I LOVE horses and haven't gone horseback riding in 20 years and would really love to get back to it. Unfortunately no one I know is interested so wouldn't know where to start on my own!
