Default Nursing Mamas and WW

Hello to all

I just joined WW and I was wondering if there are any other nursing mamas who are also doing WW?

I was doing low carb right before I become pregnant on which I lost 40 lbs (WooHoo) and than in the ensuing 9 months I gained it right back along with an extra 30lb. So far I have lost 30lbs without any effort but the weight loss has now stopped, I have been losing and gaining the same 2lbs for about 3 weeks. So I decided I need an ultra healthy way to lose weight slowly and safely coz we can’t mess with the ummy yummy mummy’s milk, and I believe WW is the way to go. I also love the fact that you can take children with you to the meetings it makes it easier knowing I can take my little Honeypot with me.

I started WW in April 2008. I was 10 months into nursing. I wasn't making a whole lot of milk at that point anymore, but once I started WW Flex, it really put a stop to it for me. I wanted to go at least a year nursing, but I am happy I can be healthy for my baby and don't regret starting WW when I did.

Hi Lina - to 3FC, and especially to the WW forums. There is a group of nursing mamas in the WW Groups and Clubs area. Here's a link, in case you are interested:

In any case, please make yourself at home here at 3FC WW, and if I can be of any help, let me know.
