Default 10lbs by Sept 8.. any wanna join me??

I have been having loads of symptoms lately associated with perimenopause. I have an appt with the Dr on the 4th of august to make sure that is what it is, and not something worse. Anyhow, from everything i read on the internet, if you eat healthy, exercise, and lose weight, it can make the symptoms lighter. Here's hoping lol.. the hot flashes make me feel as if im going to internally combust.. my mood swings are making me nuts lol.. the other day my hubby asked me what was wrong, and i told him i just feel like crying.. no reason. then i proceeded to cry lol... he is so patient with me, but im starting to lose my patience with this whole getting older thing lol... anyhow, i have set a challenge for myself to lose 10lbs by my birthday Sept 8.. that is about 6 weeks so i should be able to make it.. wish me luck.. and if anyone else wants to hop on the bandwagon and lose 10 with me, you are more than welcome... the more the merrier.

Ah yes...menopause - I call it "my own personal summer". Actually, it will get better with time.

While my days of losing ten pounds in a month are over, I think....I"ll be cheering you on! (I lose alot slower than that now)

the hot flashes are bad enough, but what gets me the most is the mood swings i have.. i can literally be fine all day, in a pretty good mood.. then whamo.. for no reason im sad, or crying lol.. i have always been pretty in control of myself and my feelings but this is nuts lol..
thanks for cheering me on, i can use all the help i can get.. watching cals is the easy part for me.. its the getting off my rear end that i hate doing lol.. its hard lugging around almost 300 lbs when youre 5'3 lol...

Im on the band wagon with you. I have lost great since jan ....but this past month things have really slowed down.I know not exercising daily is a big part of it! I also am finding out a calorie isnt a calorie for me...I have had to many sandwiches this summer and its showing up. I use less bread and my calories come in on target for the day but im not losing as fast and i truly believe its what im eating. As of today..no bread (even if its 35 calories whole wheat) no potatoes , no sweets, no rice , no pasta!! I am already drinking 128 ounces of water a day so will try to increase it by 16 ounces during his heat wave. Lets get 10lbs off!! We can do this!!!!
