Default MMM...are you gonna eat that?

Hello ladies... and um... guys. I noticed that most if not all the members on here are women, so being the typical guy, I figured I would infiltrate your forum. Just kidding. But I will say this, I found stumbled on this site by googling stuff about nutrisystem. Well to make a long story short, I started looking through this forum, and found the picture pages, and saw some hottie's to hit and decided to join...ok another joke Ill refrain from my failed attemps at humor going forward. In all seriousness I felt inspired by the stories I read and seen peoples results. This motivated me so much that I just had to sign up and be a part of it. I also signed up for nutrisystem today and bought a $500 recumbent bike a week ago. Id like to thank everyone on this site for the support everyone is giving and this is a good thing. Weight loss is a very hard thing to do. Im sick and tired of feeling like sh*t and having my self esteem so low its draggging on the ground. All the stigma & embarrassment and all the other baggage that come with all this extra baggage that i am carrying around. (pun intended) I have a pretty good life, but because of being overweight my life seems misirable and depressing, I feel this way because of my weight. I and over the years I have only half heartedly attemped to lose weight. Im not notivated to lose weight because of depression and low self esteem, i have depression and low self esteem because Im overweight. It truely is a vicious circle. But not today.....today I feel good I feel positive, because I made the desision to beat this and move forward. I feel inspired by what I have read on here and motivated buy odering the nutrisystem food. Because I am taking a step forward and trying to make a differnce I actually feel good. There is nothing worse than being fat and getting fatter and feeling like you cant do anthing about it. I have about 200 pounds to lose (if you ask my doctor) I be happy to lose 100 and thrilled to lose 150. I will share my journey with each and every one of you and look forward to your words of encouragement and reading all of your inspiring threads. Cake and icecream my have won the battle but it didnt win the war! lol Hello 3FC!

Welcome HeavyHitter!

One bit of silver lining for the start of your journey - people with more weight to lose tend to lose more each week and guys tend to take it off a bit more easily as well. So every week you'll get that little ego boost as you watch the numbers go down.

Deciding to start is the hardest part and you've got that out of the way. Congratulations!
