Default Help!!!!

So I started the diet and this is day 3. Day 1 was fine, didn't seem to get hungry... just had a horrible headache by about 6:00. I figured this was because I wasn't drinking any caffiene. Same thing yesterday, wasn't really hungry, but by about 6 had the same headache only way worse which then led into nauesa for the entire night. I eventually just had to go to bed to get rid of it. I woke up this morning feeling much better but not sure if I can go through that pain agian tonight or not. I don't won't to quit cause I dont think it's that difficult to stick to the diet and I'm bad and wiegh myself everyday and I know I'm losing weight, I just can't handle those headaches very well. Has anyone else experienced this? Will the headaches go away? I use to drink alot of Diet coke... should I just try starting with drinking just a few a day and slowly take myself off them? Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks

Why not try green tea with some aspirin in the afternoon?

Or maybe even just the tea. It's easier to prevent the headache then to make it go away.

If you prefer diet soda... one diet soda a day won't kill ya and shouldn't hinder your weight loss.

Good luck!

I had a headache for about three days, too. They were migraines, which I hardly ever get, with nausea. I did not drink much caffeine to begin with (no sodas or coffee)- so I think mine was just the change in sugar intake But don't worry - they eventually subsided. Maybe try the tea and aspirin as Taurie suggested to get you through until they start to go away. Good Luck!

Whenever I try to drop caffeine, I get an unshakable headache. I'm not an FSD'er (as yet) and honestly, the caffeine bit is partly what's kept me from trying it so far. I get a caffeine headache by noon, and like you, the only thing that helps is sleeping. Sadly, noon means I have 5 more hours to go at work, so sleeping is not an option, and drafting leases with a pounding headache for a week before my caffeine addiction calms is not something I'm looking forward to

What helps me (minor help, but help nonetheless) is preemptively taking two or three aspirin (my roommate reports naproxen (Brand name is Aleve) works better, but Im allergic to it) a few hours before the headache normally hits.

I hope it gets better for you!!

Thanks... by day 3 I couldn't take it so I had one dt coke and no headache... So I'm sticking to that... one diet coke to keep the headache away but upping the water in hopes that it will balance out.
