Default Weekly Challenge - July 14-20th

For this week, its

Three New Things Challenge

You decide on what those new things will be. For me - I need to think a bit more. I'm also going to attempt my hard core challenge again (lets see if I can do better than 3 as I did last week).

Who's in on the new challenge?

If so, here are my three:

2-do the treadmill for at least 15 minutes everyday
3-stick to my caloric intake

I thought of one new thing to try this week. I'm going to find one new recipe -- I won't count what I made yesterday as it was last week.

Maybe I'll walk a longer, new route?? Possibly try a new food???? Not sure about the other 2 new things. I'll keep thinking.

One of my challenge points will have to wait until the end of the week, but I did meet the water and exercise part of the challenge for day one.

Tracie-If kale is mild like spinach, you could cook it until tender, drain it, then saute it with olive oil and garlic. When it is very hot pour in one scrambled egg and stir til done. Add salt to taste. My mom makes spinach this way and it is delicious!

I've met my first day of eating hard core yesterday. Won't be eating hard core today as my father's assisted living center is having their annual festival, and have a barbecue and festivities, so I will be eating there. But watching what I eat.

Day two of hard core for me today. I just need to have one more hard core day, try a new recipe and try a new food. I think tomorrow I will incorporate the kale that I bought into a new recipe and if I can make it a hard core day, I will have met the challenge!

Day four: not so great. I can't let another day go by without drinking the water. I'll do it today and walk on the treadmill.

Yesterday is my 3rd hard core day. I just have to try a new food and a new recipe. I am trying Kale tonight, in a Raw Kale Salad. If I like it, I will post it. It sounds really good. So I should have my challenge met after dinner tonight. I think I will go and make the salad now, because it has to marinate awhile before eating it.
