Default A day off program

How do you handle weekly point allowance when you have an unplanned day off of core ;ie, fall of the wagon. Do you give up all of your weekly points, or do you keep things the same to keep from getting discouraged. sloan

That is a tough choice. If you use your points then maybe the day won't
affect your weight lose this week. When is your weigh day?? If it is soon,
you'll be able to start new points soon. Do whichever will keep you motivated
and help you get back on track. One day won't matter in the big picture but
don't let it discourage you and make you quit!!!

If it were me, I would use the points. I'd feel as if I was accountable to myself, sort of owning up to what I did. It would make me less likely to go off-plan in the future as well.

Were it me, I'd count the weekly points as used and just go the rest of the week on plan.

However, if I felt that I'd be more likely to give up the entire week if my points were gone, then I'd just pick up with where I left off on the points.

I think I would count the points and try to eat completely core the rest of the week. Don't be discouraged. Things will come up in your life and don't forget....this isn't a diet, this is a lifestyle change. This is going to happen through out your life. As long as you get back on track, don't worry about it.
As modkittn said, be accountable, own up to what you did and move on.
But whatever you did, don't let it get you down. This probably won't be the last time this will happen. We are only human and temptations come along. As long as you get back on track, don't fret about it.
