Angry Large Chest

Hi

I just did my measurements and my overall chest measures 47inches and under bust is 37.5!!! I'm a G cup but I used to be a D and I want to get back to that. Has anyone had any luck shrinking this part of the body.

Does it stay till last or come off evenally. I've lost 19lbs already and they never shrunk but under bust went from 42inches to the 37.5 it is now, this happened by working out in the gym it worked wonders to get me fitting into my wedding dress again, i'd put on a stone since i had my first fitting! that was 2yrs ago this month

I have the same problem! Ugh i hate it. I have lost about 25lbs so far and my bust got bigger. I was doing chest presses and suck which make the muscle under your chest bigger. You chest might get perkier, but for me not doing these exercises anymore my chest hasnt went up any. You know like they say the things you dont want to lose leave first and the things you want gone are the last to leave. GoodLuck and if you find and magic solution so shrinking your bust LET ME KNOW!!! :-)

My friend got a reduction and before she could get it, the doctor made her lose 25 pounds to make sure they weren't that big due to her being overweight. He said that she would lose there first but since she was always big busted she didn't lose any there. But my personal experience is that when i gained weight my bust grew like i was bathing in miracle grow! I've only lost 12 pounds and they aren't shrinking yet but I have faith in my body to eventually lose there- if you find any exercise that works well please post it so i can work on it too! I get some comfort by believing that they will have to shrink at some point b/c they are mostly fat anyways right?!

You just never know. Everyone is so different.

I suppose it's best to see what happens as you shrink.

I'll bet you'd enjoy perusing the threads in the 'Body Image and Issues after Weight Loss' here ... http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=219

I've lost a lot of weight and not one cup size. I started out as a 42 F and now I'm a 38 F. My mom is about a size 4 and a 32 DD. I don't think that some people are genetically able to be small busted. I'm terrified of what I'm going to look like if I lose the rest of my weight and no cup size.

I think they will =) In what order to the rest of your bits you just never know ... I lost 7 inches at the waist before i felt confident enough to buy bra's a size smaller.
NOW one my my favorite - assets - is virtually disappearing in relation to my theighs. UGH. You have to hope that nearer to goal weight everything will balance itself out =/

My bust size is shrinking, which is unfortunate because I'm not that well-endowed to begin with. It would be nice if you and I could somehow average our troubles

I shrank considerably with my weight loss. I was a 36D, and now I'm a 34C, but in reality, I should probably go down another size. I'm actually quite bummed about it. I wish we could choose where the weight comes off from!! Good luck in losing it in all the right places!

I'm not sure I would call that a problem...at least you aren't losing them all together, which is what I seem to be doing.

Funny how the people who do lose in the chest don't want to, and the people who want to can't!

I started as a 40DD and almost 50 pounds later, I'm in a 38DD. Not much hope for shrinkage, but I still have a ways to go, so fingers crossed.

Finally, I am losing and changing bra sizes. But I have only noticed a significant difference in the last 20 lbs or so. For the first 50, no change at all.
So - hang in there - there is hope

Isn't interesting how everyone is so diff? Mine have always been big but at this size thet hurt my neck and I always end up somehow sleeping on top of the left one making it sore hehe. My gp said they feel like they are full of fibiorus tissue but the onlytime they shrunk for me was when I was on a hormone treartment for endometrosis after thou they balloned up further then before. I still have a lot to loose so they may be the last stores as such to go. The gym did move them up and made them round rather then droopy! So I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks for all the replies thou

Yeah Im glad that I havent lost the boobage. I've actually gone from a 42D to a 38DD. didnt think that was possible.
Im guessing that it all depends on the persons shape and where they lose fat. some ppl just keep their bra cup, some go down
