Hoping to hang up my fat girl panties for good
Hello all!
I'm a 32 years old and today I offically hit rock bottom. I looked in the mirror this morning and no matter how much I sucked it in, my gut hung there taunting me, my double chin(s) snickered and my thighs did in fact rub together. Today I decided this will no longer do.
My weight has been a battle since my early teens, but it was always a battle that I eventually won. Once I got pregnant with my now five year old son, however, the battle has been increasingly harder to fight.
On the day I delivered my son, I tipped the scales at 300 lbs (well officaly 298.7 but you get the drift). I dropped to my pre pregnancy weight of 240 quickly though and then dropped another 30 lbs after that. I plateued . It's been a 3 year plateu, that has turned back into an incline at 231 lbs.
I am married to a wonderful man who for 13 years has told me I am beautiful even at my most scale busting-est worst, and now I think I owe it to myself and to him to be the healthiest me I can be so we can have many more years together on this journey.
I look forward to visiting here often for inspiration and hope that I can one day inspire as well.

Your Subject line caught my eye. lol. I too want to hang up my Overweight "Fat Lady" panties as well. 
lol WTG on the weightloss you have already accomplished and kept off so far! 
I know that a plateau can be very very frustrating and wish you luck, this is an awesome place!
