Hi! Anyone know how many points for buttered popcorn at a movie theater? I may or may not have it later, and just want to be prepared! We're going to see Iron Man (yay, love big summer blockbusters) and I may dabble in my bf's popcorn. My food database only lists it for unbuttered or buttered microwave varities. thanks!
3 cups = almost equal to a small popcorn without butter, as I've looked it up before and a small movie popcorn is 3.5 points in my book, so they must be about the same. I know a lot of theatres don't do small popcorns anymore (what is up with that?!). A medium popcorn salted without butter is 6.5 according to my guide.
The ww site actually has a little graphic on one of the pages about the flex plan that shows a small BUTTERED popcorn being about 12 pts. (That was based on a 7 cup bag.) I think in this case, I would guess on the high side. whoa 12pts huh? i remember what graphic youre talking about too. ok, i'll guesstimate 6points for 3cups. i'll make sure to save 5 or so of my flex points this week just as a buffer. thanks!!
