Hi Chicks!
I hope nobody minds that I started this. How is everyone doing?
I have been MIA for a few days. Work has been interfering with my 3FC time!

I have another crazy circuit training class today...I have already drank a liter of water so I hope I can make it through without having to go to the bathroom!

Have a great day

Hellooooooo to All,

We had an earthquake this morning, I'm sure some of you had to feel it too. They said it originated out of Olney IL, which is about an hour from here, 5.4 on the scale I think. It was a hoot at 5:30 in the morning, my kids woke up totally freaking out, the 4 yr old slept through the whole thing, must be nice.

I'm feeling much better today, I made myself get up and move yesterday, as long as I did stand up too fast or bend over I wasn't too bad. I rode my bike for about 50 min and ran 2 miles and I think that kinda helped rev my body up. I still don't feel 100% but definitely better.

Alicia, I like herbal essences, it doesn't stink as bad as some of the other stuff, and I like the color I get. I have soooooo much grey though, I just almost have to have it done professional, cause their stuff is stronger and lasts longer, seems to anyway.

Joan, they have given me Antivert but it doesn't help. I really have to sleep through it cause if I'm awake I just want to die. I have to crawl to the bathroom and still can't go byself when it hits my hard. This time was relatively mild and its almost passed , by the end of the weekend it should be totally gone.

Gotta go, hope everyone has a terrific day , it looks like another beautiful one here

Trish

I was posting at the same time, I don't know how we can merge threads?

Maybe I'll see if I can copy and paste my post over here. Trish

Trish ~ Lauren "The Moderator" (what a tough sounding title will move it for you. Glad to hear that your dizziness is easing up. How long have you been having these spells? Sounds awful. I felt the quake here too ~ so weird! All three kids slept right thru it...

Skinny ~ hi there. Are you the one that has a gym at your work? That would be awesome.

Slow moving morning on this end. I've had a busy week and this is the only morning this week where I didn't have something going on. I dropped the kids off at school and then ran to Starbucks to get a white chocolate peppermint mocha ~ very naughty. It is delicious and has to be loaded with calories. Now it's time to go hit the bike... Happy Friday ~ Joan

GOOD MORNING!!!

I was MIA yesterday....just super busy. Things here are back to normal...kids are perfect health & I have gotten some rest...YAY!! Got back to working out yesterday morning, and I actually went OUTSIDE for a 2 mile run at 6:30 am today. Left the kids alone (Cady was still asleep), Frankie said he would be fine, I was in the neighborhood. Soooo...I am very excited that I might be able to start running outside in stead of on the tread Plus, there were three other people out running/walking. nice to see.

Alicia...hope your back is better today!! I have used Loreal, Excellence & preference I always get coupons for them, and they wind up being about 5.00 each. What color do you want your hair to be?? I'm pretty sure they have a website that can help you pick the proper color. Good luck.

Trish...hope the dizzys are gone!! Good luck with the thyroid test!!

Joan...glad you are enjoying the weather...

Gotta go real quick...Cadence needs something. Will check back!!

Hello Everyone! I wasn't around yesterday. I got my girls off to school, took a look around at all the cleaning that needed to be done and decided, forget it and went back to bed to watch tv! I stayed there til 11:00 when I had to pick up the twins from school and after making them lunch, had them join me back in bed for some more r&r! Today, I get to play catch up with the house work. Amazing what happens if you do absolutely nothing just one day! OH! this morning working out, I actually jogged (only at 5.5 mph but still...) an entire mile with out stopping. I usually walk a lap, jog a lap and so on, but this morning, I walked 2 laps and jogged a mile and walked 2 more laps! I was proud of being able to do a continuous mile!
Joan, that is one of my fave drinks from starbucks! I haven't had one since around Christmas time, maybe its time for a little treat!
Sapphire, what kind of hairstyle did you do? Did you change it up completely, or did you just trim up? I have been wanting a new "style" for so long, I just feel so limited with my type of hair. It's so humid here in Texas and my hair is naturally curly, so the shorter the hair, the frizzier or curlier it is...
Skinny, good luck with your circuit class!!
Hello to everyone else, i haven't caught up on yesterday's posts yet, will in a bit after i get some more cleaning done! It's a never ending cycle!!!
Have a good afternoon!

Hi All!

Sorry I just got here to merge the threads! Joan, you make me sound soo important!

Wow, an earthquake! Never experienced one here in Joisey! We just get the hurricaine leftovers usually.

Things are going well here, as long as my refs check out and I'm not an ax murderer or crack ho, I should be hired by the end of the month.

Eli has demodectic mange. We took him for his first appt. last night and that spot on his forehead that the rescue folks told me they thought was scarring, is mange. Poor little guy. He's got dry skin too. Otherwise he checked out great...almost fell asleep on the exam table. They loved him! Now he has a little pencil eraser sized bald spot in his head where they did the scraping. He's gonna put us in the poor house though. It's $120/ea for the dip he has to have 3 times, 3 weeks apart. And then they do the scraping again to make sure it's gone. Already cost $313. last night, but that included the enrollment in the "wellness" program. They said he also was very good for his Lyme & Giardia vaccines. That's my sweet Eli. Oh, and he's 20.6 lbs.

Happy Friday All!

Afternoon everyone!

Thanks for all the advice on the hair color. I just want to kind of keep my color but the highlights are turning too blonde. I don't know how it will look over them. My roots are getting dark and i do have alot of grey in the front. I did find a coupon for the 10 minute stuff, it's new (I think). So I may try it.

Steph, sounds like we have the same kind of hair. I have the natural curl. People will tell me they like it, of course I never have.

Pam, it is nice to see others walking when I go out to do it. Sometimes I have to leave the kids behind, if I waited for them to come I may never get it done.

Trish, glad you're feeling better!

Joan, that's funny about Liams friend. I thought the same thing last time Spencer had a friend over, I considered myself lucky.

Lisa, lucky to have a mom who's a beautician. Just want to warn you I think It's a full moon, watch out for the crazies at work.

Skinny, my biggest challenge in working out is having to pee so much, lol.

Sapphire, good to see you back.

Lauren, sorry about ELI, pets can get pricey!

Ladies, I hate to be a downer, but I think I'm coming down with something. I had the sweats and the cold chills. Tried to shake it off and go out but didn't seem to help. Hopefully, it will pass soon.

Hope all are having a great Friday! Talk later! Alicia

hey all...im so sick today...started last night and i had a seminar today i couldnt miss..it continues tomorrow and sunday so i cant sleep all day until monday...by the end of the weekend i will be a lactation specialist!..but to be honest i feel like im missing half of it because im not feeling well

alicia: i used the 10 minute one just this last time cause i couldnt get to the shop...it worked great...loved that it only took 10 minutes...my only complaint is that i didnt choose black and my hair was black!..and my hair is fairly dark to begin with..so i dont know if the color is darker on all of them or just the dark brown or if that is just how my hair reacted but other than that it was great

skinny: how did the circuit training go for you?

lauren: sorry for the little guy!..pets can definatley be expensive..but they are so worth it!

steph: im glad you had one day to do nothing..the way i see it is everything will be there the next day..just enjoy a day if you can!

sapphire: what style and color did you get?..i wanna see!

pam: glad the kids are feeling better!

joan: hope you enjoyed every sip of your latte!..its always nice to do something for yourself as long as you dont go overboard!

cc: i heard the earthquake info on the news...i actually was surprised at the distance people felt it...hope you are all ok..

ok all...i am going to rub my chest with vicks and try to go to sleep...oh, still no news on the truck...8 days today its been gone..i just found out that mario didnt claim his rims, stereo system, or gps on his insurance because it costs more per month...sometimes he is just too frugal in the wrong situations!...i just wanna kick is butt over all this...our freaken passports were in the truck too..what the ^&% where they doing in there???...he says he just never took them out...ok im getting mad...gonna go rest..have a great night!

Alicia, yeah, it's great having a beautician in the family ~ unless she doesn't think what I am doing is good. I am aware that there is a full moon on Sunday. I was off today and so that was absolutely great!

Today was my grandmothers birthday so mom and I went down to Findlay and each bought her a new outfit (from where else but Elder-Beerman). And then I treated to ice cream (Dietsch's), a local place that has been in business for over 70 years. MMMM!
