Default Help me with a new plan

Although I spend most of my time here, I post this question in another forum as it seemed the appropriate place to put it. Could you guys take a look and offer suggestions there? Thanks

I think you had some great suggestions. Counting calories is and has worked for me. The one mistake I made though was when I hit a plateau I lowered my calories. Now I up my weight lifting and up my calories and it seems to work out better. I know I would never stick to someone elses plan it has to be mine. I have read many books in the last year about nutrition, health and exercise and also articles on the internet, and of course the people here. I take what I know makes sense and combine it and then I have my plan.
Some of the books are: YOU on a diet, Superfoods RX, SuperFoods Healthstyle, SuperFoods RX Cookbook, Body for Life for women, New Rules of Lifting for Women, Eat Clean diet, articles on artificial sweetners, diet soda, etc. You get the picture. Don't get me wrong I don't believe everything I read. Take the low carb approach, definitely not for me. But some people believe it is. Only you know you. But I'll tell you this and you probably already know this, the white bread, white pasta and other white foods, lack nutrition. Do your body a favor and make every bite count. Good luck.

Hi Missy,

Have you thought about doing the Core program on Weight Watchers? This will help with the portion sizing and you can still eat your preferred foods.
