Good morning everyone!

So my week didn't go so well. I lost 1 lb but that was from my TOM week gain of 2 lb. So I'm still at 177. I suppose I'll change my ticker today. I haven't been drinking enough water AND dh came home last night from drill w/ a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns.....yea.....my absolute weakness. Yesterday I decided to experiment with something. I made a green smoothie...different but definately something I can develop a taste for. Even 2 y.o. daughter loved it. LOL If I can get her to eat greens this way, then so be it. It's not that she doesn't like veggies, it's just the salad type greens that she doesn't like.

So, I'm officially off the Sonoma diet. I know, I know...I said I would give up. I'm not really giving up. The principles are still in my head. I think it's just thought in the back of my mind that I'm "on a diet". My self really loves to rebel I think. So, I'm just eating right now. I'll track my calories, mostly. Exercise more. We'll see how it goes. I know the smart things to eat. I also switched from FitDay to The Daily Plate. It works a WHOLE lot better for me than Fit Day.

I'll be cleaning today. Monday I'll probably come up with another soup. My freezer is pretty full now. LOL I made Taco soup yesterday. Mmmm....is was DELISH!!!!

Jelbb: OMG That's amazing! Girl, you gonna go WAY past your goal!

imcoolsoni:

jamie: Have a great weekend!!

jewelieta: 3lbs!! YAY!!!

griff: Man, I feel so left out this week....Everyone is dropping pounds and I'm like....crawling!!! Go YOU!!

Griff - WTG, buddy!

HappyMomma - Thank you, sweetie! The green smoothie, is it a mix from like the health food store or did you throw in a bunch of green veggies 'n hit "go"? And, bully for you for not getting discouraged. That TOM is killer for weight (bloating, blech) 'n I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm right along with you with the cleaning. In fact, I should get goin' on that. *drags feet 'n grumbles* Hehe

Everyone have a fantastic day!

jewelieta: I made the smoothie myself. It was really strange at first. LOL I made it this morning with water, kale, red chard, spinach, 1 banana and 1 apple. It's so weird how you don't really taste the "green-ness". I mean, you know it's in there because it's...well...green. But it doesn't taste it. Do you remember the green ketchup they came out with years ago? It's sorta like that. I could have aquired the taste for it, but the color was messing with my mind. I can really get into these green smoothies, if my mind will allow me to. I made one for this afternoon with water, apple juice, kale, chard, spinach, celery, carrot, frozen pineapple, strawberry and banana. I think I'll leave out the carrot next time. I can definately taste it. bleh...

Morning you guys! I don't really have anything too excited planned today, so hopefully I won't be too tempted to just sit around and pig out . I didn't get any 'real' exercise in yesterday, so today I'm going to make sure I do! I've also gotta stop weighing every single morning, it makes the weightloss not as exciting, ya know? Hopefully I can resist the scale for a week. In other news I bought myself some bare escentuals makeup, and it arrived in the mail yesterday. I'm so flippin' excited to play with it! Have a great day guys!

HappyMomma - It certainly doesn't get any easier than drinking your veggies 'n fruit! I completely understand about the greenness. I remember when the BF an I were juicing and made a green batch. It was, uh, quite interesting. He totally turned me off to it when he decided to throw in a bunch of garlic along with it. "Garlic is soooo good for you, just drink it." OMG, it was the most awful tasting thing EVER! I love garlic, but most certainly not in my drink. lol Your smoothie on the other hand sounds heavenly. I wish organic produce didn't cost an arm 'n a leg. *pouts*

JourneytoMe
- I hear ya on the not "real" exercise part yesterday. I'm right there with ya on workin' up a good sweat today! Have fun with your new make-up. Hehe

Hey, everyone! I haven't been posting much lately. I guess because I've been feeling bummed about dieting and exercising and keeping it going. It gets old after a while, doesn't it? I'm def. getting back on track Monday...hopefully. My work has been frustrating me because I've been having to work during the times that I would get to exercise. I'm going to have to do something about that, I think. I have been thinking about waking up early and heading to the gym. I just so hate waking up before 7 though...it's going to be so hard. Maybe I can figure out something else.

freethetoys: Good job on getting a run in...I will be glad when I feel like I can run...it's too hard for me right now.

Jewelieta: Congrats on your loss!!! I can't believe he put garlic in that....raw garlic isn't good...bleh!

JourneytoMe: I want to try that makeup too...it looks like it works really well.

HappyMomma05: I love icecream...it is def. my weakness and we just can't have it in the house or I will eat it all the time. Congrats on losing that one pound...at least you know you gained. I hate TOM. I haven't been getting enough water in lately either...what am I doing??

griffogrubb: Congrats on the 2lb loss!!!

suitejudyblueeyes
: Yay for the 3lb loss!! That's awesome!

Jelbb: Congrats on your loss too!!!!

Hey Everyone!

It's 5pm here in good ol NC. But I thought better late than never.

Well, even though my official WI isn't until Monday morning, I figured I'd weigh this morning because I'm drinking beer and eating snacks for superbowl..haha.

202! which means only 3 more lbs and I'll finally see the 100s. I am so happy! This means I have dropped like 12lbs or more in January. I hope Feb is better. I went and looked at a gym today. It was kind of expensive, but since my girlfriend makes more money than me. We are going to sign up on this family deal where I can get mine half price. So, I think I may go by tomorrow morning before I stop at Wings2Go to get some hotwings for superbowl. HAH that sounds so bad, stopping to get a membership on the way to pick up food.

At least I'm making an effort. Well, I haven't gotten on the eliptical today but I did take my puppy to the park and we walked for an hour before I took him to the dogpark. He got trompled by an 80lb dog and is now sleeping on my bed because he's wiped out.

Well, I'm off to fix dinner. Everyone have a great night.

Huh. Yeah, you can. I hadn't been here 30 days.
Go to your UserCP, and click, "edit signature". Then copy and paste the code for the ticker in, the one that has [ URL ] around it.
